There are many other ways to use the ATOM Cam, such as watching over the elderly and children, or as a security camera, but this time I would like to introduce the impressions of this camera that I felt while using it as a pet watching camera.
The ATOM Cam is a network-compatible camera, and if you connect it to your home network, you can watch the footage you are shooting on your smartphone anytime, anywhere.
The connection method is easy. Setting up a camera, connecting it to a smartphone, and even putting it on a stream can seem complicated. At first, I was also prepared that this would take a lot of time and effort. However, I was surprised when I started. Just plug in the power to the camera. Install the "ATOM" app on your smartphone. That's pretty much it.
Just plug the AC adapter into your home outlet, no other cables required Back side of the main unit. Connect to the AC adapter with a USB Type-C cable In my case, I set it up on the table like this to prevent the cat from biting the cord. p> After starting the app for the first time, you will have to register your account and recognize the camera, but it will be completed in just a few minutes. When the ATOM Cam turns ON in the app, tap it to complete the connectionAccount registration is often done online, just enter your email address and password. There are detailed explanations in the app and voice instructions from the camera, so if you turn on the power and set up Wi-Fi, camera recognition is complete.
At this point, you will be able to watch the ATOM Cam video on your smartphone. I always see cats up close, but seeing them through my smartphone is refreshing and cute.
In addition, once this work is completed, even if you unplug the camera after each use and put the camera away, the next time you connect the power supply, it will automatically connect in the app and you can watch it on your mobile phone immediately. can do.
How will it be displayed on the distribution screen? This simply changes the medium from smartphone to PC. Install the ATOM application on the PC as well and log in to the account set on the mobile phone. Once you have confirmed the camera screen, simply add the window to a distribution app such as OBS, cut off the extra part in the screen settings, and place it on the screen. It was a lot easier than I thought.
At the moment, only the first generation "ATOM Cam" has a Windows application, and the new "ATOM Cam 2" is not compatible. So, if you want to use it like me, you will need the first generation, but be aware that this is no longer in production and only distribution stock remains.
Actual delivery screen. I cut it small like this and put it on the screen
