Junichi Hayama, animator and character designer

Born in 1965 in Nagano Prefecture. After he graduated from high school he joined Monsieur Onion Productions. Video debut with "Gu-Gu Gunmo" (1984). Debuted as an original artist with "Ha~i Step Jun" (1985). Debuted as an animation director with "Fist of the North Star" (1987). Character design and debut with "BE-BOP HIGHSCHOOL" (1989). Became independent as a freelancer in 1990.
