In November 2017, we signed an agreement with Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture regarding the spread of drones, human resource development, and reconstruction / disaster support using drones. In December, it was selected as the Koriyama Regional Fire Fighting Association, and in March 2018, it was selected as 68 offices nationwide. Concluded an agreement on activities (shooting, etc.). The agreement with the Aizu Fire Department in March this year included the use of underwater drones.

In addition, in the damage investigation of Typhoon No. 19 in October 2019, we received a letter of appreciation from Koriyama City in February 2020 in cooperation with Koriyama City, Koriyama Fire Department, and Sukagawa Fire Department. ◆ [Course for local governments] Drones are now being deployed to local governments and fire departments in Fukushima Prefecture, and we are conducting training according to the purpose so that drones can be used safely. In addition, the Employment Promotion Organization conducts training for job seekers and companies to support job hunting opportunities and the creation of new drone utilization. [Achievements] Conducted training for more than 1,000 Fukushima Prefecture fire department staff, Fukushima Prefectural Office, Koriyama City Hall, Tamura City Hall, and other Fukushima Prefecture municipal staff. ◆ [Course for students] The number of high schools in Fukushima prefecture that purchase drones and incorporate them into classes is increasing. In addition to classroom lectures and practical training, we are also training young drone operators by firmly responding to the selection of aircraft and aftercare (repair support) after introduction. We also hold drone experience sessions for adults and children sponsored by the local community center to deepen our knowledge of drones. [Achievements] Drone training and hands-on sessions are held for a total of more than 1,200 students of all ages, from elementary school students to university students. ◆ [Beginner class] This is a course for beginners who are interested in drones and are new to drones, want to try flying drones, and want to take aerial photographs as a hobby. You will learn about drone accident examples, laws, and explanations of apps in a classroom lecture, and this course is a set with practical training such as pre-flight inspections and basic operation methods. In addition, as part of employee education, we are often used for training to get in touch with the latest drone technology and broaden our corporate view. ◆ [Drone pilot certification course] The drone pilot certification course is a course for beginners who can learn the minimum necessary correct knowledge and operation method regarding drones. In 2 days, you will learn about UAV introduction, law, and operation in a classroom lecture, and in practical skills, you can learn the skills to fly a drone safely by performing daily inspections and practical flight exercises with and without GPS. After completion, our school will issue an original license. ◆ [Agricultural chemicals / fertilizer spraying class] When spraying agricultural chemicals on fields using a drone, apply in advance to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism because it corresponds to "property drop" and "dangerous goods transportation" stipulated by the Aviation Law. You need to get approval. It is a qualification necessary to acquire skills that can work safely and to proceed smoothly with application. As a means of solving the problems of aging agricultural workers and heavy labor, drones are highly recognized as agricultural machinery and have become a popular course. JUIDA is one of the oldest drone-related private organizations in Japan that has been active for a long time. We provide a curriculum that allows beginners of drones to learn about safe operation and operation techniques that are familiar to various tasks, and after completion, JUIDA will issue two licenses, maneuvering skills and safe operation manager. The license is a private qualification that simplifies some procedures when applying for the Aviation Law, and as of September 2021, it has produced more than 350 graduates.
