A new attempt has begun to utilize flight robots (drones) as depopulated logistics.Drone logistics expands for local governments nationwide who suffer from depopulation if the actual service is on track.I want to pay attention in the future.

Aeronext (Shibuya -ku, Tokyo), which has a strong advantage in drone delivery technology, has started a real service in Kosuge Village in Yamanashi Prefecture in collaboration with Seino Holdings.Despite the highest interest in drone logistics in local governments due to aging, shopping refugees, shortage of truck transportation, and reduction of carbon dioxide (CO2), there is a problem with real services that can secure profits.

There are two real services that started in Kosuge Village: drone delivery and shopping and delivery agency service. For drone delivery, a delivery fee of 300 yen (including consumption tax) is charged for each use.Products should be selected from 300 items, such as food, daily necessities, medicines, and seasonings.Drones deliver products to five locations installed in the village.

Many local governments are suffering from depopulation and aging. The shortage of customers is closed one after another, and the only way to buy things is to go to a store in an urban area more than a few kilometers by car.Elderly people have problems that cannot be driven safely or driving in the first place.

Drone delivery is effective in solving the problem, but securing profits is an issue to actually start in business. In depopulated areas, the number of uses is small, and you can imagine the future of flying drones with deficit.

It is not a true solution to the fact that local governments should make up for them because they are public services. The characteristic of the actual service is that the combination of drones and normal truck transport according to the delivery location, if the drone cannot fly due to rain or strong wind, the truck will be performed, and the operation interval is 30 minutes considering convenience. It is something that is set.

Aeronext is also conducting demonstration experiments in Hokkaido and Fukui prefectures in addition to Kosuge Village. The company aims to increase the use due to a decrease in shipping charges and the expansion of products handled. The drone aircraft is also developing low -priced standard aircraft, led by a domestic drone maker ACSL.I want to watch the whereabouts.
