JBL announces many new speakers overseas. Macrevie's first headphones
The first active speaker in JBL's consumer studio monitor series, with a built-in 192kHz/24bit high-resolution DAC and class D amplifier. Although it is the smallest model in the studio monitor series of the same brand, it is said that it realizes the sound "like listening to a large floor speaker". It will be available in the first quarter of 2022 and will be priced at $2,200.
It consists of a primary speaker and a secondary speaker, and the primary side is equipped with front panel controls such as volume adjustment and input switching, as well as digital/analog input. If you wire each other with a digital link cable, you can play at a maximum of 192 kHz. You can also connect the left and right speakers wirelessly, and in this case, the maximum playback is 96kHz. It should be noted that the primary and secondary have a selectable L/R allocation function according to the user's placement preference.
The unit configuration is equipped with a 1-inch compression driver "2410H-2" and a 5.25-inch woofer, and each speaker supplies 25W to the compression driver and 125W to the woofer. Total output is 300Wrms. It also has its own HDI (High-Definition Imaging) horn.
In addition to asynchronous USB and optical digital input, it is equipped with analog 3.5mm and XLR 1/4 inch TRS phono connectors. A network playback function is also possible, it supports wired connection via Ethernet, and supports Google's Chromecast Built-in and Apple's AirPlay 2. Three new models of JBL's complete wireless earphones, "JBL LIVE Pro 2", "JBL LIVE Free 2", and "JBL Reflect Aero" will appear. They will be priced at $149.95 each and will be available in Spring 2022.
