How to set and shoot the self-timer with the iPhone camera app-Weekly ASCII

With the genuine iPhone camera app, you can take a photo with the self-timer. With the self-timer, you can take a picture a few seconds after tapping the shutter button or pressing the volume button. The self-timer of the iPhone "Camera" app can be selected and set from "3 seconds" and "10 seconds". This is useful for group photos.
First, tap the camera icon on the home screen to start the camera. Slide the bottom of the screen and select one of "Photo", "Square", and "Portrait" modes.
You can display the self-timer setting screen by tapping the "Timer" icon displayed at the top of the screen. You can set the self-timer by tapping and selecting the timer time (3 seconds / 10 seconds) you want to set.
Tap the "shutter button" to start the countdown. The photo will be taken after the number of seconds you set earlier.
You can check the photos you have taken by tapping the preview at the bottom left of the screen.
Depending on the model, multiple photos are saved in the form of "burst", which is taken continuously at the time of shooting. To check, tap "Select ..." at the bottom of the screen, and all the photos you have taken will be displayed. Check the photos you want to keep and tap "Finish". By selecting "Keep only ○ favorites", you can leave only the checked photos. All other photos will be deleted.
