Al-Muqqarah: The Yemeni army said Iran-backed Houthis were forced into and around residential areas following a massive explosion that destroyed several buildings in a compound in the southern Yemeni city of Taiz. accused of storing weapons and ammunition.

Yemeni military officials say the Houthis have moved weapons, ammunition and drones from military bases such as Zamal to residential areas in Taiz and turned them into secret camps on the upper floors of the al-Saleh complex building.
Al-Baher said "the first floor is a workshop and armory for assembling drones and mounting explosives," while the Houthis are among the thousands of people living in Taiz's controlled areas. He said he was putting his life at risk.
