TikTok Tests "Repost" Feature-Share Your Favorite Videos with Followers-CNET Japan
TikTok is testing the "Repost" feature. This is a new way for users to share their videos with their followers. TechCrunch reported on January 4th. This feature is equivalent to Twitter's "retweet" feature, which allows you to share videos and display them on your friends' "recommendations" page (feed on your home screen).

The repost button will appear when you view the video on the Recommendations page, TechCrunch said. This means that it won't show up in the videos you find on the Trends page or in the messages you receive.
In addition, reposted videos will only appear in the user's feed if they follow each other with the user who pressed the repost button. According to TechCrunch, TikTok is testing this feature "with a small number of users."
Currently, there are "remix" and "duet" methods for sharing videos on TikTok, but these features require work to process the video. With the repost button, you can share the video as it is without creating or adding your own content.
