The main feature of this version is the support for blur expression. A method to emphasize the perspective by blurring (foreground blur). "Metasequoia" blurs and renders objects in front of and behind the adjusted focus position. The degree of blur can be specified with the "F value", just like with a general camera. However, unlike the actual camera, there is no change in the exposure amount. Also, enabling blur does not change the total amount of rendering time. Therefore, when combined with noise reduction, high-quality rendering results can be obtained in a short time. FBX output and transcription functions have also been enhanced. "Metasequoia" is shareware for Windows/Mac, and can currently be downloaded from the company's website.
